On April 6, 2016, the Gnostic Wisdom Network interviewed Khalil Andani (PhD Candidate, Harvard University) on its show Talk Gnosis to discuss the Shia Ismaili Muslims, Ismaili esoteric thought and gnosis. In the Interview segment, Khalil discussed the historical origins of the Shia Ismaili Muslims, the definition and importance of Gnosis (ma’rifah) in the Ismaili tradition, and the principles of Ismaili esotericism, with examples from the Qur’an. This was followed by a 50 minute Q&A segment where Khalil discussed several questions submitted by the audience on various topics.
